Laboratories and Equipment

• The department maintains well-equipped GIS, cartographic, surveying and computer Labs.
• A Map Reference Centre has been set in dept with the help of Indian National Cartographic Association. The map collection of the department includes Survey of India maps on different scales, covering a large part of the country, wall atlases of all the continents, wall maps of special interest.
• A large number of latest world and national atlases, aerial photographs and satellite imageries are available in the Department for ready reference.
